Blocs Wave, IAA, and Link
I am getting some buggy behavior from Blocs Wave and was wondering if others are experiencing the same.
When Link is enabled, Blocs Wave does not start at the beginning of the measure. It always starts around bar 4 no matter where in the Link cycle I press play. It doesn't wait for the start to come around again, it just starts immediately around bar 4. Then if I disable Link it works fine for starting at bar 1, if I re-enable Link it's back to starting around bar 4.
Also, when I load Blocs Wave into AUM, it ignores the fader, mute and solo. If I try in AB, Blocs Wave works fine with the mixer controls. So I tried to test if Blocs Wave would respond to the mixer controls in Cubasis, but I cannot find it listed as an IAA input. So I checked the app description on the Appstore and IAA compatibility is not listed, only AB. So how come I can load Blocs Wave in AUM if it does not have IAA compatibility?

Look under N for NVTN Blockswave in Cubasis audio IAA
This!! I have the exact same issue when I use link and Blocs Wave. When I export the files into BM3 I have to cut them up and rearrange them correctly.
Thanks for that.
So the mixer controls in Cubasis work with Blocs Wave, so I assume it is an AUM/Blocs Wave problem, not an IAA/Blocs Wave problem. Unless I'm the only one experiencing this, which would make it my problem.
Will wait for more feedback to try and suss this out.
i can confirm that the app does not properly launch in AUM, the audio ends up going to the main mix and not the IAA port. definitely a serious bug. air 2 and latest ios.
Same here and also it would be good if they made Blocs respond to host IAA transport start stop for use with hosts like Cubasis and GarageBand that don’t have Link built in.
