cubasis for iphone?

I recently revisited cubasis on my ipad, and forgot what a great ios DAW it is. Are there any plans for it to be ported to IPhone? with plus size iphones, this would be awesome to have in my pocket when I’m on the go. Will it ever happen? I hope so

    Hi eross,

Thanks for the kind words about Cubasis, glad to hear that!

Your feature request is included in our backlog for quite some time.
At this point I'm not able to provide you with more information regarding a possible iPhone version.

Usually we announce new features and update once a new release become available.
And the the team is working full steam on the next one which will add great new features and improvements - free for existing customers (except in-app purchases, of course).

    Best wishes,
    Lars

Cubasis is my favourite ios DAW, but I use Garageband, Gadget and AEM a lot more because they are universal and I have my phone with me all the time.

I would rather just need able to start a song on my phone and continue to work on it on the ipad using Cubasis.

thanks for getting back so quickly. Great, I’m glad to hear that you guys are aware of the desire of ipad owners to have cubasis on iphone too.
After the announcement of abelton 10. I have finally decided to switch to cubase as my desktop DAW, and use cubasis on my ipad, and hopefully soon on my iphone. i’m very excited to have a Cubase ecosystem on all my devices.

    Please, add more guitar effects.

  • Cubasis I don’t think would suit iPhone

    Gadget only just about fits

GarageBand is kind of more designed for any kind of device

  • update just dropped

  • !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Sweet, guess it's not available everywhere yet?
(It says 2.2 in the Swedish AppStore but the release date is 2nd of November 2017).

  • Cubasis 2.2 adds Note Repeat for creative chord and beat programming, and there is Track Duplicate for the creation of exact track copies alongside further additions and improvements.

Available as in-app purchase, Classic Machines extends Cubasis with a new drum instrument providing the sounds of the ten most iconic drum machines of the ’80s.

Also today Cubasis comes at 50% off in addition to all available in-app purchases that come at reduced prices as well.
The Hello Summer sale offer is valid through to July 18, 2017.

  • am i trapped in some kind of weird timewarp?. this was the previous update?? yet the date is today..

I've got the same feeling. Guess this is the side-effect of AppStore not being in 100% sync across the globe :)
I'm also eagerly waiting for the next update to Gadget...

  • the version is definitely dated 2 nov 2017 but no update button available here in uk .. maybe its just a bug fix for all the Room Works registration priblems ios11 has been causing?

Don't know but I bet @LFS will chime in when something is about to happen :)

  • Track duplicate is a great feature! Wish Auria implemented this.

  • aww i got excited for a second. i thought it was an actual update. weird

  • Discchord mentioned it on his site it’s not April 1st no update in UK what’s occurring?

Some of the updates on Discchord are 'automatic' and can react to AppStore glitches, it's happened before :)

ah! i was really beginning to think i'd dreamt the 2.2 update last july... no mention of any update on cubasis forum yet.. last posts are about Room Works reg as I said..

  • Would immediately buy a universal cubasis. Yes please

  • Hi...we’re really need an iPhone version of the greatest iOS daw ...I think I‘m not an exception: stopped to use iPad, instead only working with iPhone (for starting projects) and than continue on my MacBook Pro...the iPhone is always on the go...really wish all music apps come universal soon (cubasis, Galileo, NeoSoulkeys Studio and so on...)...please please please dear developers (would also be ok just to go universal only for the newer iPhone versions...)

Again, seems to be an AppStore issue in this case.
But the next update is in the works... of course, will let you know when it arrives!

    Best,
    Lars
