[VIDEO] gadget plus a waldorf streichfett
listed the waldorf locally and brought it out to play a bit since I had not done so in a while. on the fence now, such a niche instrument and so playable (love morphing from the solo instrument to the ensemble ones, as featured here). set up a long loop with gadget and improvised a melody that flourishes later on.

cheers! super nice, enjoyed that a lot... streichfett is lovely
Thanks. Yeah. So many different sounds.
Hard to tease out what noises the Streichfett is making, but I love this, particularly, the long evolving pattern. A great example of mellow anxiety, if such a thing exists. I guess I'll have to wait till this weekend when the NEW WALDORF GADGETS* drop.
*purely speculative and based on nothing other than foolish optimism.
Nice job, sweet set up!
thanks, what you hear in the beginning is all that is gadget (3 tracks bilbao: kick, shaker and glitch noises, and the bass line), no pads or anything..just a 16 bar loop.
everything else is the streichfett. it has a mix knob that goes from one solo instrument to an ensemble instrument, each with it's settings. so as i evolve the solo sound to the ensemble i also evolve by adding more notes and drawing them out. you can see the notes if you look at the korg nanokey, the keyboard lights up with each note played. no fx on the streichfett, just the internal phaser (which is good) and the reverb (which is amazing).
gonna try to see if i make up the funds for my next purchase elsewhere because i really like how the streichfett sounds and how responsive the knobs are.
saw your post on the waldorf gadget...would love it. a stripped down blofeld pad gadget.
