    Unlikely?
But if true, the story would likely be a the same as Camel Audio and Emagic(Logic-creators).
Cacelling of everything that doesn't fit the business plan, and cancelling product lines that are not Mac or iOS based.
But also: lots of free stuff for Logic and GarageBand. B)

Must be Apple’s “it just works” stuff then. Except when it doesn’t.

I’m on 11 in the US and still can’t get these to load. :/

  • Loaded immediately and without problems over here (NL).

First time I saw actual editorials in the App Store. Well, that's pretty cool!

  • So that means while Nashville might be the home of Country music, Asheville is the home of Electronic Music :D

Detroit is really big on their electronic music (techno originated from Belleville which is 30 min from downtown).

Also a random fact: yonac inc (magellan/tonestack/kaspar) is based in Asheville. I would totally try to drop by the office if they'd let me. Yonac is rad

Interesting. I looked up Belleville and Wikipedia says, "The city has been called the birthplace of techno music, namely having been home to Derrick May, Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson, commonly known as The Belleville Three, who were instrumental in its creation."

I didn't realize that techno was created by African-Americans. I always thought it was a heavily white music format.

Im hoping Ill look up at any moment and see Animoog has an Auv3 update, at the moment I have both the Ipad version and the Iphone version on my Ipad for when I want to run 2 Animoogs live, but I didnt by all the expansions for the Iphone version that I have for the Ipad version , I just dont feel inspired to buy sounds I already bought. This would be awesome if Animoog becomes an Au!!!

You might be hard-pressed to find a music genre that doesn’t have African-American roots. ;)

  • Link never worked, but just went to the “today” page and there it was!

Do they say anything about how they're going to optimise their code, so Air 2 users can run more than 1 AU in iOS 10x, and two instances in iOS 11?

All very nice for Pro owners, along with a juicy discount for new users - but not much love for older device owners who paid full whack. Mutter...grumble...scratch..

Bob Moog was making synths long before that when he lived in Queens, NY.

  • Pretty much all American music is a synthesis of many streams of influences. Attempting draw racial boundaries around music is even more pointless than categorizing people by race.

San Francisco gets my vote due to the San Francisco Tape Music Center and all of the seminal figures associated with it.
