Touch AU requests

Developers: Now that iOS 11 AU Extensions support MIDI out and full screen. I would love to see 3rd party touch based instruments similar to those in GarageBand. I believe there’s a lot of room for innovation here.

  • Yes, in agreement.

Indeed. I really like the GarageBand touch instruments and using some of them as midi out (via the Logic remote app f.e.) is great. I mean the tactile feedback is not there but it feels better than hitting virtual keyboards with certain sounds.
What about an AU where you draw your own midi keyboard or whatever via the pencil. That would be a thing i wait for on a multi-touch device. If i had a clue i would program such an app :D

LOL, there flowing a lot "weird" ideas in my head how i would like to use multi-touch.
Of course i doubt it could work since iOS GUI´s are more or less fixed.
But things like midi designer almost go into such a direction.
Ha, draw your own knobs and put some animojis over it. I´m all in for that :)

  • You probably know about this one as it seems a little old (last uodate 2013), but I was wondering if anyone uses it. lt looks kind of like KRFT and Orphion rolled together.
