Mine ended in the bin, def the weak part of the controller.
I took it apart and can press the thing together and it will pick it up on the Macbook, but before i solder in a cable and just have a USB lead hanging out the side, it would be nice to get the actual part and solder it in, then cover it in epoxy resin
The sad thing is that there is plenty of room inside for a full size USB socket.
