Yeah, I don’t think anyone can complain about that one!
Cool, as for the new 'oscillator types'. If you've played around with the Electribe 2 it's worth to be 'inspired' by.
It's so quick and easy to just select an 'oscillator type'(FM/VPM/XMOD, Sync, SuperSaw, RingMod, PWM etc.) and tweak the sound with the 'edit' knob that can also be modulated. Stack a few of those and it will get FAT fast
On sale again ($6,99).
I think the meat of this thing is in the mod matrix obviously, so many possibilities. I dunno bout anyone else but I sure would love it if there was a random button on that to generate a random source and target on each slot @giku_beepstreet.
Oh, that sounds awesome. But you know i have to ask if that will be also iOS only (since i have the Sunrizer AU and love it) or also AU for mac too. I mean i just love if i can do things across platforms.
I also still would buy a Dagger for iOS since i think it has some power i can´t get out of Zeeon (maybe it´s just a placebo effect).
I must say that Sunrizer is a very "musical" synth. The Sunrizer only track (O.K. plus a Logic drum loop) is still my favorite where i used just one synth as sound source. 6 Instances and it sounds like 60
Random matrix doesn't work and in most cases results in a complete shit. This synth needs awareness . I gonna sit on this again, but not now.
Wayne just uploaded...

hehe. class. tweak with intent
Nice track, well put together
@RedSkyLullaby Thanks man!
Fair enough. I'll just have to get my hands dirty in the mod menus
Or they could use a system similar to WaveMapper that seems to give very decent generations which I believe are based on the choices you make on the mapping page. Surprising how many decent starting points you can get using generative means in that app and then tweak to make it work well.
well,i don't want to step on anyone's toe but i'm asking if it's just me who don't get warm with Zeeon...?
I really wanted to like it (lovely interface) using it for weeks now but whatever i try it just doesn't pleasure my ears.Of course,my expectations were a little higher after all the praise...maybe too high?It has a quite aggresive tone that works very well on mono sounds but it's too much for polyphonic stuff. It also sounds often as the filter is a little overdriven in the input even with very low input levels (of course all"extras/FX"switched off).My typical workflow with new apps is listen to all preses and mark favorites and use this presets as starting points for own stuf.Aflter listen to everything, including the AB Forum patches (thanx@community) i found about 13-15 patches...from THREEHUNDREDwhateva...
Then i went on with Level two...starting from an init patch and recreate some of my alltime favorite polysounds, nothing special.More classic pads, food for chords...strings etc.But not much luck, still couldnt make it sound right for my taste.
As a analog poly emulation i like i.e. DRC MUCH more. I even like the good old sunrizer more (but not seeing this one as an analog emulation ),although the Zeeon Filters sound much better.
Disclaimer: This is NOT meant to be a rant ,just an observation that puzzles me.I did not regret the purchase (support for a fine dev and looking forward to Drambo!).
Try the different filters and look into what the filter knobs do for each. Knobs do different things depending on which filter you select, and there’s a lot of smoothness to be found in all those options.
Zeeon is very flexible if you use the mod matrix. DRC sounds great but so does Zeeon. To my ears anyway.
I would hate to have to choose one!
Zeeon is definitely my favorite out of dozens of synths on my iPad. Would love to see a Zeeon 2 some day with more mod destinations, namely drive and effects.
