Looking for a midi app similar to an Event Processor
Hello,
I have a midi controller that sends note values out of only midi channel 1, and PC messages to all channels when needed. I've decided to use an Irig IO as a midi interface.
What I need to do is make that midi note message out of channel 1, broadcasted on every single midi channel, 1-16. As for the PC messages, it just needs to be Midi thru, so it can get to the synth hardware units down the line.
Which app can duplicate a single channel midi out to Omni midi out?
Thanks!

Hmm, does anyone know if midi flow can map Omni midi out from 1 midi channel?
You could set up 16 lanes in MidiFlow, one for each channel you want to remap to. You’d want to filter out PC on these lanes. Then you’d want a lane that filters out all but PC and let’s that through unaltered. Shouldn’t be hard to build a preset.
You didn’t mention what to do about CC’s.
MidiFire could be used for this too.
Ah thanks for the insight! With CCs, I'm looking to pass them thru as well just like the PC changes, since it's basically an expression pedal hooked to my foot controller. Do I just do the same thing, set up a lane for only the CCs as well?
And I know this is like apples and oranges, or more like red delicious vs granny smith... but may I ask which app would be more suited for my application?
Thank you
The easiest would be to allow everything through except notes on the first (unmapped) channel, and block everything except notes on the others.
I don’t know that one or the other app is better for what you want to do. The idea is the same for both. I have very little experience with MidiFire, but have used MidiFlow for years. You may need the Controller Remapping IAP for MidiFlow (I’m not sure if you need it to filter out controllers. You may not.)
Rev. 2

OK thanks so much, I'll get the standalone version of MF and test it out in my rig!
