ChromaSonic currently FREE ($1.99)
I found this cool experimental synth app ChromaSonic, which is free right now. It converts colors to sound. If you like Nature Oscillator, you should check it out. It doesn't sound like Nature Oscillator, but seems similar in concept. This one seems to use colors more, whereas NO seems to use luminosity more. If you play with the pixel resolution slider, you can get some cool moving sounds, along with just moving the camera around to let it see different colors to convert.
The usefulness of this app is entirely up to you. Some may find a lot of use, but if you want straight musical quality sounds, then maybe it's not for you. Probably will be of most use to the more adventurous/experimental type of projects.
