Audulus 3 CPU hit
Just curious how much CPU % your patches are consuming, and on which iPad. I'm building a massive polysynth1 with 4 osc nodes and two filters per voice, and am hitting 67% at 8-voice polyphony on an iPad Air 2. There isn't that much going on yet besides some audio rate amplitude modulation and two dub delays. Any idea if it scales well with more powerful iPads?
Comments
I would go to the Audulus 3 forum to get some more specific advice on how to optimize your synth patch.
Post your patch here if you can. I’ll test it on a Pro 10.5. If you can’t upload it here, then the Audulus forum will be more than glad to help you out. Nice, rabid (in a good way) group over there.
Thx, i figured out how to reduce the load with the Poly-to-mono node before stuff that doesn't have to be processed polyphonic. I'll check out the audulus forum too. How far do you push your iPad pro with Audulus 3 though?
