Here’s some presets I’ve made that have a loose sci-fi / film sorta theme.

Many are to be played in mono and many have sound modulations from sliding up on the onscreen keyboard (a few have horizontal too). Play about with fingering and movements to get the best out of them. It’s amazing how playing styles will make them sound quite different.

Some may need a bit of extra FX goodness to work at their best.

Hope someone finds some use for them :)

Thankfully you have your stuff backed up. I read about your storage fiasco and subsequent iOS reinstall yesterday. I was going to ask you if you needed copies of those awesome Shoom presets that you shared with me last week.
Hope all is right with your iPad now. :)

Yeah luckily I had most of my own presets backed up. Well, those that allow it without iTunes lol

This is another bank that some may have an older version of. This one may have a few more presets if you have less than 100 in the bank.

It’s loosly based on sorta orientalish sounds lol

Again, many of the presets use the vertical and horizontal axis on the on screen keyboards to vary the sounds

  • Thanks for these. I get unexplainable clicking from ALL 3 PPGs I own (Wavemapper, Phonem, Infinite) though, to the point where I can’t use them on recordings. This is the second iPad I’ve used them on, and it’s the latest edition, so it can’t be just me?

That’s really odd. What iOS and iPad you using?

I've noticed that even though plug-ins are supposed to adapt to the buffer of the host some have 'issues'.
For example BS-16i does NOT work reliably with buffers larger than 256(I get weird extra noises with at 512 buffer almost like 'granular' synthesis, ie. the same buffer is played back twice).

Could it be that the buffer size is causing the clicks for you?

256 seems to be the most reliable buffer-size on iOS for now, some plug-ins behave strangely with 128 or smaller buffers...

Can we use these presets in Infinite?

No these are just for WaveMapper. I am working on some for Infinite, but only just really getting to know the app at the moment, where as I’ve had WaveMapper for some time.

As far as I know both packs are for WaveMapper only.
There's plenty of patches for WaveGenerator & WaveMapper over at Wolfgangs site...

    http://www.wolfgangpalm.com/iwg_soundbanks.html
    http://www.wolfgangpalm.com/iwm_soundbanks.html

Some of the patches can be loaded onto both WaveGenerator and WaveMapper.

All patches that can be loaded into WaveGenerator can be loaded into WaveMapper from WaveGenerator.

Yeah there are some great patches free on the PPG website

Some of the sounds I originally made in WaveGenerator then exported them to WaveMapper and continued changing them.

Wolfgang has been 'smart' here. Some things can only be done in for example WaveGenerator (such as creating a wave-table from scratch) and all the apps can share data between each other like sharing wave-tables from WaveGenerator to Phonem and Infinite. And you can share stuff from Phonem to WaveMapper, WaveGenerator and Infinite. So in order to 'experience' Wolfgangs 'synthesis vision' all his apps are needed :)

And he has some wonderful peeps making presets. Some of the free ones on his site are really nice :)

  • Thank you! Wavemapper is so lush and i love having new presets to play with!

This is an updated bank to replace the last one of the same name. It has 30 other oddities. These extras are mainly odd sounds to use with Rozeta. Fiddle around with what you send to them until the sound works. Again add some Eos 2 or similar to taste

60 sounds. mostly bass type sounds, but some arps and other too. Some collected from other banks of mine, but put together to keep most my bass type sounds in one place.

As with other sounds, some have X or Y modulations.

  • Thank You kindly for these

much obliged! Cheers and Happy Holidays Fruitbat to you and yours!
