I highly doubt they would even consider au. It would take away from gadget sales for sure and korg is such a big company that they will just work to maximise the profits
AUv3, ehh. Track names though? HELL yeah.
Does Korg even read that forum? It's not their official company forum as far as I know, just a third party initiative. I don't recall ever seeing someone from Korg responding there anyway
Better than nothing. Any concentrated request will probably reach them. I think its just a matter of time, cause anyway im using inter app and au in gadget all the time, through audio import or loopback.
Just wish it was easier to.
I use gadget cause it can export to ableton set.
Not intersted at all in using ipad as standalone production tool.
To use model 15/animoog in gadget. Ehh.
While I can’t see Korg having AU within Gadget, I can’t see any negative to Korg getting an AU extension for all their stand alone apps when they have IAA.
good luck with that, you never know.
but...it took a 'SumOfUs - Fighting for people over profits' petition of nearly a thousand with a formal request in manilla envelopes sent to korg HQ's to get one shitty update for the emx2!
i bought mine after it had been out for around a year. the serial number is 10095. 3 yrs later and how many more have they sold? talk about being stingy!
animoog au would be sweet
Don't know but from this one some of the requests have made it to the app and occasionally they do reply too

I think still the best way to reach out directly to the Gadget developers is thru Twitter @korg_iapps
I am pretty well certain that Korg completely ignore the Korg Forum. Any Electribe user would tell you that.
Thanks, looks difficult but posted!!!
I would personally love to see all the Volca range turned into Gadgets, would pay good money for that
Fixed for you.
Doing this. And loopback.> @jwmmakerofmusic said:
Ah yes the famous ios workaround workflow.
Sorry im for asking to improve existing products . Its not cool that you need three daws and mixers for few apps to work together and then panic when ipad is out of juice.
Cyber Lynch mobs?
Cyber protests?
I don't have time to be on this forum never mind another one.
Why would AU be such a help?
What is wrong with just using Gadget?
I am confused already with cool new "items" with music apps that people start making more important than the quality of an app.
Personally, I really don't need more than 1 of any app.
If I do, I use the other iPad.
I am at loss with this to be totally honest.
I don't know the CPU difference and if it matters for me.
Just a little steam released.
Anyone made a request for midi out tracks already? Please point me to that location
Why isn't this about KAOSS PADS ON EVERY GADGET? that's actually Korg stuff
I would like to use other apps that i like the sound of, in this sequencer ( gadget ) .that gives me ableton set export .
( and supports irregular time signatures )
For me this is good workflow, thats it.
I know and do record other apps to gadget with loopback and import samples, but would like it to be more convinient.
Four +1 allready! Come on dont be lazy sign it! And we will have model 15 , rozetta, zeon, inside gadget one day. Remember everyone bitched about audio tracks? It hapenned in the end
Because Korg are waiting until the competition is sniffing at their tails before they release the Kaoss pads onto iOS. Until then they can continue to make the sales. When needs be- the Kaoss Pads will stretch their lead again. Besides- the hardware KP3's are still retailing at £300. How much would you be willing to pay for a Kaoss Pad in app purchase?
Live FX seems to be a go at a Kaoss Pad Quad type of thing- but it's well short of the actual mark.
Anyway- there is the question- how much would you pay for a Korg KP3 standard addition to your iOS?
Me- I would go up to £45 at a squeeze- but then I love the things....... I would then sell my hardware ones
Well to clarify, I mean both Kaoss pads and Kaossilators. One for easy fx automation, and of course the other in lieu of a keyboard and yeah I'd pay that much too
Well, if you bought the Nanokey Studio, you'd have a kaoss pad, right? Or is that somehow different?
Pssh. I don't wanna buy that shit lol. And yeah it'd be different cause it'd be right there in app. You'd be able to assign fx parameters to each axis in app, record, assign two more, record, etc. the Kaossilator would work roughly the same as the ones in their synth apps I reckon. Mono, 2,3, 4 note chords, etc with the inversions on the y axis. Very useful. AND FUN. But I don't expect this to happen honestly. It would just be too much fun.
You're mistaking my tone. I don't disagree with you. But all you just described I think are possible with the midi controller, and I suspect that those who really want that might well pay for the Nanokontrol.
No you're tone is fine. No issues. The nano control probably would be fine. But at the end of the day, it's just xy pads. Which is exactly what the screens on iPhones and iPads are. honestly more developers should straight rip off the xy/Kaoss pad format. Its just a great representation of data and works well for music on a touch screen. I mean the Kaossilators are literally touch screens. I know they want money. But in the meantime, others could step up. Put grid lines in there if it makes them feel better.
I can't remember if the Lexington has XY pads? Or is it only the iOdyssey standalone?
@ExAsperis99 only the standalones have them.
That seems to be a conscious decision, then.
Hmmmm.
Waste of time
If korg added AUV3 then gadget add on sales will drop!!!!
The automation screen is a kaos pad
Not really. Time is represented on the x axis. Now if you could choose two parameters from the left and then just wiggle the finger around in that space and have the values recorded without having to look at a curve, that would be different. I actually find it more fun to just turn the knobs while recording rather than chasing the cursor on the drawing lane
Kaossilator gadget is desperately lacking. Maybe it'll happen in 2018...
