Synth apps as AU MIDI hosts?
Just thinking how fun it would be if stand alone synth apps supported interesting AU sequencers, arpeggiators, keyboards etc natively. Instead of a dev using precious development time crafting a built in arp or fancy scale based keyboard or XY pads (or...), they could add AU MIDI plugin hosting. Though maybe that's just as time consuming, I dunno.
Anyone know if it's possible to support MIDI AUs without having to support audio AUs?
