BM2 - delete samples with iExplorer

i always thought you couldn't delete samples from BM2, but everything i read people mentioned using iFunBox... has anyone tried using a freeware program on their pc called iExplorer? I use it to transfer samples to Audioshare and Nanostudio - when i had it connected last night i was able to get into the directory where all the BM2 sample files are and see them. I didn't try deleting them (I have tons of space available) but I can't see why it wouldn't work... I can try again tonight and see what happens, but maybe somebody here has already tried?
