New video - Wind, Leaves

edited December 2017 in Creations

I posted this piece as audio only some time ago. While trying to figure out what to try first with lumafusion, I realized I had a ton of photographs from my daily walk in the park near where I work, which made a natural combo with this music. Got to say, I love lumafusion. I'm no expert on video, but it sure was easy to place the pix, do transitions, do some colour correction, add the sound.

Hope you like it.

(Edit) I should also mention that all the pix were taken on my iPhone, most of these ones were on an iPhone 8. Song was written in Notion, exported as midi to Auria, then various sounds and filters were applied.

  • Really nice vid and music, what a great place to walk you have there. I need to do similar with LumaFusion as I have thousands of nature photos and have not brought any in to the app. Also, I like the swipe transitions, very cool effect. May I ask in what part of the world do you live?

  • I live in Vancouver, Canada. The park is in Port Coquitlam, a suburb. The Coquitlam river runs from the mountains, a few kilometers north of where I walk; there is a reservoir where it comes from. The park covers both sides of the river, a few hundred meters from the shore. It's a natural corridor for a lot of wildlife, and the river is a salmon river; that's what the shot of the fish is. In the fall, it's full of very large fish.

I have loved having it near enough to work to get out and walk in. It refreshes me, every day. This is my last week of work, I'm retiring on Friday. I imagine I'll come back for a few more walks as time goes by.
