Purchasing was no problem, but downloading is!
To anyone planning to purchase products from Sonikinetic, here's a little warning:
You cannot simply download your purchases anymore, they force you to install their Sonokinetic Manager (their own download manager) which always crashes on Windows 7 when trying to install it. It will unpack into a temporary folder but will fail to install - the log file suggests that it's a bug in the downloader. Running the unpacked monstrous 80MB .exe file does not work either.
I didn't know how complicated and annoying purchasing samples could be.
yeah, I’m on a Mac and when i register it through native instruments manager, it crashes when pointing it to a file path. I’ll let you know what i figure out.
