When you say "outdated" again and again & very, very fast (so fast, that you beginn this word before you have stopped it!):
Then you probably get Flanger.

Played around with it last night, running pink noise from the Model 15 through it, which is a pretty good way to get the feel for what it does.
I'm pretty familiar with delay line effects, but the various control interplay here is still a bit mysterious to me.
However, I did get some very nice phase/flange type of "through zero" flanging by manually manipulating the phase and delay sliders while the rate was sweeping things at about half depth or more with the regeneration turned mostly down.
Sounds pretty good on an overdriven electric guitar sound.
The frequency control function in relation to these other settings seems a bit more difficult to pin down to me (maybe an actual filter of some sort?) and the drive control can add a nice bit of extra grit to the sound, which can help make the effect more noticeable by giving it more harmonics to chew through.
It's not a super deep effect like Hendrix' "House Burning Down" or some of the early Queen stuff, but it does sort of head into that same territory at certain settings. A keeper for me.
