What would you do? Main iPad+(Audiohub) + iPad + Circuit + Pocket Operator

SET UP ADVICE

AIR 2 ---> USB/CCK---> NOVATION AUDIOHUB> (right here ?????????) <-Circuit & Air1 & PocketOp

I really appreciate a serious answer as my brain is spun out from looking at options and just turning it over to the family here to sort it out for me. Need to order what ever we decide today. Thanks.

How would you run a Novation Circuit, iPad Air1, and Pocket Operator audio into Novation AudioHub which is connected to main workhorse iPad Air2?

What mixer, audio face, wires, duct tape, or wizardry would you use or recommend?

I realize more than 1 way to skin a cat, so looking to see ways I haven't thought of.

Thank you in advance.

Additionally:

HAS ANYONE USED THE iRIG mixer? I am also considering a more unconventional approach and grabbing one of them, splitting it between iPad Air1 and Circuit and run that into the other iPad.

If you have any experience with that.

Thanks

  • Seriously thank you in advance for your time.

  • Depends on how flexible it needs to be?

    First off would be to connect USB from the Circuit to the 'Novation Audiohub' this way you could control it from the Air 2. The Air 1 could also get it's power from the Audiohub using a regular usb->lightning cable but you would loose midi on it but it could still sync via Link as long as Air 1 and Air 2 are on the same wifi network.

    As for mixing audio from the PocketOP, Air 1 and the Circuit before feeding it to the Audio Hub you would would need a small line-mixer.

  • I would change my setup XD

    Sell PO and Circuit and give the Air1 to a son/wife/anyone.

    :p
