X Drummer 1.5 fix
After a few days of troubleshooting with X Drummer's 1.5 update (which made the app unusable), I discovered that you have to clear more than 3GB of storage for the app to function normally. Hope it helps anyone having problems with it!

Sorry, hate to be so dense, but what you're saying is for 'X' to work probably the thing it's running on needs to have a minimum of 3 gigs free?
I went to the apple support page to get a refund on this app the other day but doesn't look like it's happening, they just want me to try to resolve the issue with positive grid. I haven't had any crashing, but this app does not create anything resembling realistic drum tracks (well, maybe a distant cousin? Distant though). At least it made me realize that with some of the midi loops I had purchased in the past from oddgrooves working together with the kits in auria work really well.
I officially have no more patience for positive grid but am sad that I spent more money to realize that (sometimes I still have to learn the hard way). Lesson learned now.
Concur.
Yup even though the appstore description says the app needs 450 or so MB, it actually doesn't function at all if you don't have around 3GB free to download all the patches and algorithms. Barring that, it's given me really good results (as a guitar player). Hope I can help anyone out if they need any help with this!
