Mjau is so annoying it’s good! I want that riff hammered into my brain in as many ways possible: in the bass, with lots of glide, different sounds, etc
Holy shit did y’all know you can hold down multiple pads in jump mode and it alternates between them? Hell you could use this feature in conjunction with changing the tempo to make loads of stuff. Came up with a wicked new groove this way and pressed record to record it into the pattern but alas, seems the jump playing can’t be recorded. But......maybe?

I'd recommend using GR in tandem with AUM or Beatmaker for best results getting those sounds committed to audio files.

Im so happy with GR16. Im having a great time mangling samples and making patches. I dont particularly like the groovebox workflow (but I except its a industry standard with all those roland/korg boxes, I have a few). Im slowly coming around to this way of working!
Just been going through the presets and there are some clasics sounds in there and dissecting these you can learnt some music composition/production tricks.
That it works on a phone is pure genious!
Fan boy stuff said Id like to see more modulation destinations. In the mod section OSC seems to refer to the edit1 knob, which has been great for sample mangling. Id love the edit 2 knob to be modable but I can always automate it until then. BTW The automation editing/p-lock is really well done and Im even starting to come round to the jog wheel.

100%. The jog wheel really helps me zip through the fx, sounds, etc on the fly making for a fun experience. I honestly wish the little arrows would also zip around quickly if you held them for more spontaneity
Midi Import will be cool.. Imagine bringing in an Odesi midi export into MR-16.

Holy $h!t, this thing is good for hip-hop style work! And 120 bangers, obviously! Lacking the tubes, but otherwise no need for an Electribe. Thanks so much, Jim! You are truly a generous and smart person. Now between this, Aum and BM3, I have to figure out (if there’s a way for) an efficient mode of conjoinment.
Could this be used to “stereoize “ the mono samples?
I have no idea, but I love that app, use it a lot, and am aching like a sailor lost at sea for it to appear as an AU...
If it did it could be used with Grooverider which is mono samples only
There is already a good mono to stereo AU but I don't see this is of much use with Groove Rider
Why not? Maybe I don’t get but you.. oh no wait .. You’d have to record the mono sample with that as a stereo sample first somewhere . Oy
Not quite sure what you're trying to achieve. When you load any sample it gets converted to mono. Each track is mono including the insert FX, but the final mixer and send FX are stereo and you can pan the sounds to create a stereo mix.
I like this a lot (I'm a bit of a tart for all their stuff), but it's not a patch (in my book) on SD. Excepting for the AU, of course

I think I’m the only one who doesn’t understand how to use this app, ugh. It’s great you all love it, I just wish I could figure it out, haha!
