Run Beathawk on a 4 all the time.....
Find out what apps don't require 64bit devices, then you can decide for yourself if you're willing to live without them.
There's still a lot of great apps that work quite well on an iPad 4.
You can Run GarageBand (not the latest version), Cubasis, Gadget, Audiobus, most of the synths and drum machines...
Can run a lot of apps - just not more than 2-3 usually at one time is all.
For those of you who has an ipad with only 16gigs, what tricks do you use or what type of corners do you cut? Also i'm a bit confused on what audioshare does exactly? I have been trying to find information about theser apps and ow to run everything efficiently for newbys but I'm able to find limited information so if you could steer me in the right direction or educate me It would be greatly appreciated.
Audioshare can be used like your central audio file storage including simple recording and editing functions, from where you can export audio samples/loops to or transfer samples between many apps.
16GB is very little, but if you manage to choose the apps that best match your personal workflow, then it can still be a fun little music making platform.
Being restricted to a few apps usually makes you more productive than having a wide choice of apps.
My other ipad before it got broke the apps i loved was positive grid bias and jamup, thumb jam, i also used aria, loopy, beathawk, imaschine, and samplr.....that was a year ago not sure if there any new apps since then.....but thats kinda what i want to do.....I bought myself a new guitar amp for xmas and since i got the ipad i thought about sending the amp back and just using bias .,,,,,questions so in a way audioshre is kind of like dropbox but more powerful?
Just keep buying apps and it will all be fine
I previously purchased auria, but will it be too large for a 16g ipad? What I want to do if o can is load bias amp, auria, imascine, korg electribe, beathawk, with all expansions and drum perfect pro and use dropbox for all my recordings, with 16gig is that enough space to do what i want?
Any recommendations on an midi-audio interface? and midi controller?
