@Love3quency I promised you to get some stuff up. Finally I made an account on soundcloud at least. Its completely created in BM3 (I am actually starting to love this DAW). There is no arrangement in that, that I just muted and un-muted the tracks/loops. And the drums are not too complex sotospeak ;)
Anyways, hope you have some ideas or tips how to improve, thanks!
(oh and please use headphones, you know for the Reese :))

  • @Love3quency its cool, more atmospheric than dancefloor. id try to punch it up a little, get the bass and drums working together and add more variation.

  • Nice thread, some good stuff. Not done much dnb except this

  • New one in progress...

Gadget is cool for dnb it seems

Hey bro, cool stuff! Like the drums and how they interact with the rhythmic synth part (arps I guess?!) :)
Have you seen/heard my soundcloud upload above? Do you have any tips how to elaborate a track out of these stems and loops? (Beside, make more complex drums these are way to monotone). Cool would be to import them in Launchpad and try some real time fx on the different loops maybe

Just listen to a lot of dnb and meditate on how those kind of tracks flow

What style do u want to produce?

    Also, YouTube for tutorials...

  • Can you guys post more ios dnb please

Here’s another... gearing into jump up

  • @david_2017 you have a nice dark/sinister feel to your track, good work.. as for any advice, I can only suggest what I might do and hopefully you can get more ideas from there. First I would make a basic solid arrangement -similar to your mute in/out mix.. that frees hands and thoughts.. from there on I would add an intro and breakdown.. and some sweetener sounds - drum fills, sweeps, vocal delays or anything to help the transitions to and from different sections .. also if I'm stuck on a track, I'll leave it for a week or 2 before listening to it again - as a listener. Keep it up have fun ;)

hey sir, thanks for your headsup, really appreciated!!! Glad you liked it!
Yeah, good points and things to think about. I do it often with photos I shot. I let them marinate and come back days later to have my emotions detached from the time I took the shot... why not doing it with music also? Good point!

I think, I have to study the "anatomy" of DnB for further arrangement. Need to get a drop in there of course. Vocals would be cool, do you have/know of a source where one can get some, without persuading my wife to sing some :)
Just finished listening to your track. Wow, this is crazy! What can be done with an iDevice! Really inspiring and great sounds. Love your arrangement and ideas you brought in. Keep these tracks coming, really enjoying this!

one question, what is your tool of the trade? What would be your preferred daw/app for creating an arrangement and putting it all together? thanks in advanced.

Cheers @david_2017 , I use Cubasis. It's quite basic but has a lot of import/export options, records audio and midi works well.. I don't have Auria or BM so can't really compare.
For this track I used Cubasis, DM1, iSem, Cyclop, Nave, iWavestation, Sampletank, Gadget, Turnado, Twisted wave, Audiobus.

As for vocals, you can pick bits up from you tube, tv (hold iPad close and record), radio ((beware copyright and it wasn't me that told you this !!)) or sample packs and free download sites like freesound.org for a more legit way..

  • I’m gonna try and make it a habit to post more stuff in these type of threads... dnb head here!!
