Aum using audio units and iaa

So I noticed when using AUM and say Troublemsker by Bram Bos, if I load it as an audio unit I don’t get the lower sequencer part of the UI. If I load it as inter app audio, I get the full UI, the sequencer and all.
Is there a way to get the full UI if I load it as an audio unit? Thanks.

  • So... what does that mean?

Troublemakers sequencer is not available in its AU interface. But a MIDI sequencer based on it is available in “Rozeta” by the same developer. If you get Rozeta you can use this in AUM along with Troublemaker to get the same result

Or do some even more weird stuff like transpose the rozeta bassline using rozeta cells for long bass-lines that don't loop so fast...

The sequencer from Troublemaker and several other sequencer types, and an LFO are part of a suite called Rozeta. Rather than including that sequencer in the AUx version of Troublemaker, he made an AUx app that does that, and much much (much) more, allowing multiple instances of each inside AUM, and other hosts that take advantage of feature that allows AUx apps to send midi out...there’s a x0x sequencer, a Euclidean sequencer, the bassline one, a randomizing “particle” one, the LFO as mentioned, and the dev continues to come up with new gems, and features, in free updates

@no1normal linked to the devs page about Rozeta

Also search this forum for Rozeta threads, there’s a few

Personally it completely changed the way I make stuff in the device.

  • ah. That makes sense. Thanks.
