Galileo/Magellan broken?

Hi there, I have another thing happening on iPad Pro 9,7“ and iPad Air 2:
Galileo and Magellan don‘t start anymore... , not standalone and not as IAA/AB.
Same with Reslice, but this one at least still is usable as AU.
Anybody else has this happening?

  • No problems here with Galileo/Magellan. Air2 + Mini2 both latest.
I do have the problem with Reslice though.

All 3 worked for me last night. Air 2 here. What is ReSlice doing?

Sleeping, mostly. Works standalone and as AU.

  • Magellan works here on pro 10.5, 10.3.3

So you can’t get it to launch in AB? Try opening it in the background first then go back to AB. See if it launches for you.

  • Recycle does not start at all, only usable as AU. Galileo and Magellan magically are usable again on iPad Air2, not on iPad Pro 9,7 though (they don‘t start at all. Did try reloading the Apps, Restart iPad, nogo...). The ghost in the machine...

Aleeady tried that. Just keeps on sleeping. Tried both MIDI out slot and Audio in slot. Does not crash AB3 here though. Working nicely in AUM.

  • I had a Galileo issue that needed a complete reinstall a couple of weeks ago, looks like you've tried that though.

Just fired it up now, I notice it has a dialog box on boot with a message about the sales, this might be a clue (your device is connected to the Internet I assume?)

  • I never have internet connection, when playing, so I did try it just now, and also did reinstall Galileo and Magellan once again on IpadPro 9,7. This time it seems to have worked. Thank you! No luck with Reslice, though...

Good to hear, I suspect the “On sale” prompt stopped the app starting if you aren’t connected.

I get similar in Audiobus/AUM if the app is expecting a response to a dialog box.

Reslice OK here, no further words of wisdom unfortunately ...

  • That‘s ok, since Reslice still works as AU.
