Behringer UMC 404 audio interface with iPad and Cubasis
There's been a lot of talk about audio interfaces with iPads on here of late. I recently picked up a Behringer U Phoria UMC 404HD to use with Cubase on my windows system. TBH, i hadn't considered using it with my iPad until i came across a Behringer thread that had risen from the depths of 2014. it got me thinking ... so i thought id try it with the iPad.
There doesn't appear to be much info available about this set up. nothing on Behringers site ... I certainly couldn't find any videos.
I put together this clip on setting up the connections with iPad and Cubasis.
Basic connections ...
USB 3 camera connection kit lightening connector to power supply
USB 3 camera connection kit USB to Behringer USB port
stereo out from the TR-8 to inputs 1 and 2 on Behringer
stereo out from Synthmaster player on the iPhone to inputs 3 and 4 on Behringer
Audio monitored through Behringer headphone out
