Ya me too I just voted @SevenSystems the best developer of 2017 and was afraid I was going to have to knock him down a few pegs. LOL.
@Chaztrip haha, that's brilliant now I'll have to defend that title for 2018
seems like BM3 is only good for painting beats but not for real world midi work. i stopped using this pita and gave it a lonestar...
You gave BM3 one star on the AppStore????
Meanie.
Drag them onto the timeline, not a pad.
BM3 has a problem importing midi format ‘1’ files (or is the format ‘0’?)... one or the other..
doesn't work over here either! 10.3.3 on Air2
Type 0 or type 1 MIDI file?
open in Cubasis works ok - that type of Midi file!
tbh idk
The only converter I found was on desktop...
http://www.gnmidi.com/
Xequence can open Type 0, 1 and 2 MIDI files, and saves as Type 1. So, if you copy your MIDI file into Xequence using the Files app, “Load” it from the “...” screen, and then simply “Export MIDI file” again, this should convert any MIDI file to type 1.
Thank you, errr, I think
Finally saw videos on Xequence.. Maybe now I can wrap my head around it...
@RajahP if any specific questions remain, feel free to post them to the mile-long “Xequence MIDI sequencer” thread here
Thanks... Nibbling at TheAudioDabbler videos right now...
BTW, it is type '0' midi format BM3 handles well... Xequence does '1'.. I think.
Just to add my two pence, I’m using Cubasis to convert my Xequence midi files so that they work in BM3 BM3 is super midi fussy lol
