I was counting on MIDI Link for an iOS Daw. I can't seem to get into a workflow yet. This is my issue:

You can try using Midi Link Sync. It works pretty well. Make sure you set your midi clock source to Midi Link Sync In and not Cubasis. Also, turn off looping in Cubasis, it loses sync progressively each time it loops. You have to start Gadget manually, no auto start.

Another method is to host Gadget in Cubasis, turn off Link in Gadget and turn on Midi Sync to external. Then Cubasis will control the tempo and start/stop of Gadget. Again, turn off looping in Cubasis because it will lose sync on the loop back to the start.

I am actually in the process of using Gadget for live performances.

I am looking to use each ROW(left to right) per song I am doing with Circuit, Launchpad, Hardware, Other iPad.

Basically I will load 1 of each Gadget or what I think would be best and then just use each row per song.

    Song 1. ------- 1st row pick
    Song 2 ----- 2nd row

I am thinking this is a stable approach to the live situation different than I am doing.

I generally use Animoog and Blocs/Launchpad.

I basically always have one "BIG" app.

Gadget BeatHawk Groovebox and then 2 complimentary apps.

    That is usually my formula.

I've been thinkin messing with using gadget in the same way For live performance, have you made progress or kept using this format. Does it get to messy or is it worth putting no more time into ?
