This. This is the direction where surf music should have gone had it not died. I love it.

    Lol thanks!

  • Thanks, i just gave all them a listen. Except for Suicide. It's hard to search them for obvious reasons. I'll try them on S.C. The dude on Dirty Beaches has such a haunting style of singing.Nice voice. Thanks tho, hadn't realized this sub genre existed!

Suicide was pretty great (the band). Look up Martin Rev and thereby avoid spurious search results.

  • I have gadget on the iPhone...it gets the job done...but it’s way less fun, mega more tedious for my use all the time

  • Nice track beginning btw

I went from iPhone to iPad 1 on first day of its release, then iPad 3, then iPad mini 2gen

I loved the bigger screen size

Then I got newer iPhones and just felt better about music cause I can just take the phone with me everywhere

It’s just my preference that’s all

Don't feel like a troll. I remember that conversation on here and honestly I feel the same way. If I'm gonna get something the size of a laptop and more expensive then I want ableton to run on it. Ipads are plagued with the same issues iphones are and they don't fit in my pocket. Iphone suits my needs just fine and its always with me everywhere I go. Plus screen is plenty big enough. They should be in an ipad category honestly. I understand not wanting to port stuff to smaller iphone screens

If I had loads of cash I'd just invest in hardware. But I already have a phone so.....

Exactly. Whenever I want to listen to them on YouTube, I type in either Rev or Vega. Otherwise, I just get a lot of PSAs and documentaries.
    They were pretty great.

  • Big studios musicians are making fun of desktop musicians who are making fun of iPads musicians who are making fun of iPhones musicians who are making fun of...Android musicians who...

At the end, the important is to create something good, no?

Agreed :) Platform vs platform and hardware vs software are fruitless hangups. Just use whatever's available at the time and gives best result and/or workflow. No need for any 'all or nothing' type thinking..

Yes, but iPad users have no basis or foundation to take the piss out of iPhone users cause it’s the exact same operating system and apps

And actually, I’ve heard better music done on Android caustic than most iOS music lol

  • Maybe Android people spend less time buying apps (because there are none) and more time making tunes with what they have like Caustic or Sunvox. Makes sense to me. Hence the better tunes

I think they are grateful for what little they have

    You are right

  • With your past I'm not surprised you've got that jumpy feeling inside your bones. @trollfrequency

  • The lack of apps for Android is a Blessing, you'll never hear them comparing apps and such... Only Ridiculously good music.
Old songs made on plam devices and Gameboys have more original ideas than what I've heard on ios so far.

Love3quency — how many alternate accounts do you have?

  • Good one!

Been making music on my iPhone since - well, since before I had one! (2nd Gen iPod Touch...)

If anyone's on your case, just Get Back Up Again! (sorry, couldn't resist!)

    I think 9 or 10

    And you?

I’ve been repeatedly called a troll on here for my opinions that the iPhone is as a vital tool for producing, but I walk my talk. You can call me all the names you want but at least see the common thing we share - ios music

All on a teeny weeny iPhone se and gadget...

Very bassy and loud as it should be

Gadget it seems, is a complete studio in itself for my kind of music

Surely, your track would be better if you would use an iPad instead of a iPhone
