I might consider the IAP it if it was possible to save user presets and edit/automate the parameters, without such a basic feature it's more than obvious that the real focus of the app is in selling preset content...
(I mean we can't even import our own drum samples in the drum thing).
@thesoundtestroom sure sounds good though Doug
Yes, I wish you could save your own presets too, that would be great, I think that eventually all this stuff will be added over time
Well I invested just in case they do.
I might do that at some point too, especially when the option to use user samples in the drum-box thingy.
For now I'm enjoying the new sound-pack that dropped for GarageBand
A safe bet. We will do it. We just can't promise when. M
Good to know!
I've already got the 3 other instruments unlocked so the 'Pro Bundle' would be like paying for them again right?
Automation with editing is also pretty high on my wish-list as is being able to use the instruments as AUv3's with other hosts as that will help me personally to 'keep focus' without having to jump between apps like a loonie...
@AmpifyxNovation and for extra fun I sampled Minimon in Beatmaker 3...
Can we import our own samples into GB?
The pro bundle bugs me a bit here.. does that mean early adopters will have to buy everything one by one, and late comers will just need to buy the pro bundle and still get free unlocks as new features/devices come?
Eg: the early adopters that sunk money into the app are now stuck buying everything individually and paying much more in the long run
Took a screenshot
Keep up the good work...
Usually buying a bundle will give a small discount over buying individual items. The AppStore bundles will work out how much you have already spent on items included and adjust the price automatically. Not sure if this is possible inside an app but I'm sure someone here will know the answer to this.
ive bought the three existing whilst on sale so its still cheaper than the bundle that way.
@AmpifyxNovation
i am surprised that that the new synth isnt free and unlockable with iap.
Having an onboard demo helped me in deciding whether to purchase the unlock or not.
It is
It is free. When I opened the app it was another instrument option, and had some free sample content. Like past modules, you have to pay for the advanced features.
I didn’t buy it... yet. Hopefully it helps you make a decision.
Oh my bad! There was an error with my update and was looking at old version of app which had the demo sound file in the news section. Have updated now and had a play.
It really does sound great.
@samu
Which new GB soundpack?
For me, it's an idea generator, and sounds really good too.
The 'Flex and Flow' pack...
...395 Apple Loops, 25 Alchemy Patches, 5 new Drum Kits and 2 Live Loop Grids, ~175MB
@AmpifyxNovation
I like the two finger rotate on the wavetable position knob that rotates both markers together, was pleasantly surprised when I discovered it. It's not something i have seen before.....I'm now trying to think of other parameters that would suit this type of control..perhaps a bandpass filter where you can set the 'gap' between the low and high freq cutoffs....then use the two finger rotate to sweep it...it would work well on the MID control of a 3 band EQ too..It is great to see new ideas coming to UI design.
P.S. Shouldn't you be at NAMM in front of the rumoured wall of Launchpads + LaunchControl XL ? .... would love to see some video of it in action during or after NAMM with some info on how it was done....
Perhaps there has been an update that hasn’t shown up in my App Store? ‘Cause at the moment there is no free new instrument to try, just the demo and a button that will cost me about a fiver to press.
Refresh your updates screen in the store by dragging down and then letting go.

Tried that before, to no effect. But spurred on by your post, I tried again, and again. On the 23rd pull down, new updates finally appeared! A lesson for us all, never surrender.
We will fight them on the beaches !

Handy for me. I live about three minutes walk from the coast. Not up to fighting my way out of a paper bag at the moment. Had surgery yesterday.
Hope it's not hurting too much dude...

Nah, I’m tough. Just frustrated not being able to do more stuff. Hopefully, soon.
Has anyone noticed a slight delay between loading an instrument and being able to play the keyboard that wasn't happening before?
As if the new addition is taxing the resources a touch?
For all my moaning about no automation- I have just realised that I have been playing with Grooverider for about the past couple of hours and didn't use the automation once- which inspired me to have a go on Groovebox- and found that I was quite happy playing Retrobass as well without it. I think I will take the fiver plunge tomorrow. The sounds that Groovebox can make really are very good.
Must go to bed though.
