  • A little bit pricey, but extremely innovative and possibly worth it. They even have other surfaces that aren’t related to music (such as a gaming pad, a typing keyboard, an art pad, etc), so this could be a game changer.

  • Hardware is now way out in front of software. Come on developers, catch up!

agreed which is rarely the case.... I think all synths and effects and DAWs should have easy setup and implimintation of MPE capabilities. It’s such and expressive technology.

  • Expensive technology you mean?

  • This works out a little cheaper than a Roli Block, and looks more versatile with the interchangable surfaces. But the Roli Block adds a load of sound packs in the Noise app. Ah, decisions, decisions!

    use sensel with noise app.

  • I just tried it today and I was impressed with the light touch, sensitivity and quick response. They don’t have quite the variety of surfaces I’d want to see for MIDI use (needs a pure continuous surface setup, with pitch either linear or grid), but it seems like they are open to new ideas here. It doesn’t have much/any physical pressure travel, but that’s not unexpected either.

I think I may have to acquire one....

I guess you can use sensel when Noise is running as an AU plugin.

  • Thanks for the feedback and suggestions, it’s currently a toss-up between these two so any further views welcomed. I’m definitely going to get one of them in the next month.

  • I broke down and I bought one , it should be delivered next week sometime. I’ll let you know how it is.

  • Looks cool. Similar to the idea behind the Quneo and stuff but with way better support staff. Probably wont ever get one but could be fun to mess around with.

Good luck, luckily it seems not to be available in uk

  • Do they offer bundle prices for the surfaces?

they mentioned bundle prices in the video, but i didn’t see anything on there website.

  • I’m seeing an option for UK pricing but not bundles.
