Has anyone tried out the vocoder by the way? and also passing audio input through SynthMaster's filters/envelopes/fx ?
Might be a dumb question but can this actually be used as a vocoder effect on vocals? Or just to vocode sounds produced by SMOne?
For now, the standalone app records the microphone input, so that can be used as an input for the standalone.
I am planning to add stereo inputs to the AUv3 version in a subsequent update.
Thanks for clarifying that, fair enough
Has anyone transferred a custom patch to/from Synthmaster One desktop? Curious if they got that functionality working smoothly.
@kv331audio_bulent I've been meaning to but haven't had a chance yet. Can use use the vocoder in AU mode or only in standalone? I would expect standalone only, but I'm curious to know if the other is possible as most of my noodling is done in AUM....
For now, standalone, but in a subsequent release we will add audio inputs to our AU extension or we'll release a 2nd extension that can take audio input.
Ok cool - no worries, it's what I expected. Let me see if I can carve out some time tonight, or more likely tomorrow.
It's 7 now
It’s in the store....just bought.....I’m going in!
Got it!! 👍
Let’s the music play! 🎶🎶🎶
is Out!
(Eh, moved to other thread)
Enjoy
and BIG thanks to @kv331audio_bulent
This thing sounds great
iPad Pro 12.9” - Synthmaster One (Standalone) - iPad keyboard covers the Preset Attributes box I’m trying to type into. Bug or oversight on my part?
Instant purchase. About to spend all night with this thing
Whoa, the Preset column of the Preset Browser sure has a mind of its own when it comes to scrolling! It’s all over the place and hard to keep the entries where you want them.
Try using the scroll wheel. It moves a lot smoother that way
In GarageBand it also crashes and forces a reload after 3 instances used. The scroll goes crazy to and is there any way to to have zero or 1 polophany?
Change to mono or legato
Wow just woke up to find this. Immediate thoughts sounds great but would like some indication of activated keys - like a colour change, shadow etc. If I leave a key / keys on hold there is no way other than memory to know which are active.
Ok changed preset and can see there is a slight change in active keys but it is very slight and to all intents and purposes does not show at all with black keys.
any way to use microtonal presets in AU?
If anyone was curious how many you can run, I opened up as many instances as I could and had StepPolyArp Units controlling them. I maxed out at 11 of them with around 60% usage but then it would spike to 250% and crash them all. I can run 10 pretty stable. I’m on 11.3.1 iPad Pro 10.5” 2017 using AUM. Here’s a little video to show it off if anyone is interested. It’s not amazing music but not bad for a sequencer running into 3 arpeggiators into 10 instances of the same synth and all of those being AU

Just bought it... Fuckin' happy with this masterpiece!!!!!
Unfortunately I have to go to my work now :-(

Crom! 10 instances! Well then, no good reason for them to not add the 4x oversampling option.
I bought this a few minutes ago.
I tested it briefly in standalone and in cubasis and it seems to be working good.
I bought the desktop version a few days ago, and I haven't gotten to test that one out yet, but I used the serial number to register and I got all 800 presets now on the iOS version. This is my first time trying the synth, but I've been quickly going through some presets and I like what I hear. Good job!
Congrats @kv331audio_bulent to you and team on the release! Very cool
