Best iPhone (iOS 11) Audio FX
Hi all,
want to get more FX on iphone as spending more time using it to create music during long commutes.
Familiar with Audio Damage and Holderness. Any other must haves? Wonder how long until Elastic FX comes to phone? Any other multi-fx available (and recommended) for iPhone?
*Didn’t realize Holderness has mini versions, as EchoPad works on both iPad and iPhone, and thought it was just a compatability issue, not a need to buy another version.

Thats the only Holderness that’s universal. The mini bundle is still pretty cheap though if it’s available.
If you use the chorus effect or want to have one, FAC Chorus is pretty universally hailed as the best on iOS. It works on phone.
Emo chorus is fun.
DubFilter I like a lot too.
apeDelay is quite powerful as is Dedalus Delay.
Voice Rack: FX has some good ones.
WretchUp is great for some chaos.
ToneStack isn't just for guitars!
SquashIt is simple and easy to pick up and play with.
GliderVerb I forgot I owned but looks nice.
iVoxel is another that I forgot about but people seem to like it.
Filtatron is essential!
Model 15 is another option, much more than an effect app and I doubt the small screen would be a great experience with this one

Virsyn AudioEffx. Muiltieffect and AUv3 with randomiser
The 6144 EQ, AltiSpace (reverb) and FAC Maxima limiter are all getting a lot of use over here.
Virsyn’s Tap Delay is special and I wouldn’t be without that one. I also rate FAC Chorus (as above) and lately I’ve been enjoying K-Devices’ Shaper, and also putting rhythmic LFOs on a lot of things with Filterstation2 (AudioDamage).
All of the Amazing Noises/apeSoft stuff is top drawer, although I’ve noticed that I use them a lot more on the iPad than I do on the iPhone. To be fair, I don’t do much on the iPhone.
