Looptunes 2.6 released

Hi guys,

I just released a new version of Looptunes - 2.6.
This version lets you post or browse sessions online, to connect Looptunes users around the world.
I also added support for Apple’s Files app, to make it easier for file management.
Enjoy

Comments

  • Not seeing the app showing up in Apples File App under “On my iPad” should I see it there?

  • hmm, I just released it a few minutes ago. Might take a little bit to populate through the system

  • oh, I misread your post. Are you using LooptunesHD or LooptunesDJ?

  • Looptunes HD plus IAP

  • I’ll check

    2 questions:

    1. For the DJ version: Will it load songs added to the Files folder or is it done through Itunes?
    2. Can recordings be accessed through the Files folder or through Itunes?
    3. Does it do cue points?
    4. How Audiobus compatible is it? (Using Audiobus 3)

    Edit: 4 questions :s

    interesting 2 questions

    1. Yes. You can load songs that are in a “songs” sub directory
    2. Yes
    3. Yes
    4. It can route Audio as an Audiobus receiver or sender. It doesn’t control MIDI through audiobus

Great! I'm thinking this might qualify as the best DJ app on the market then. (I have Traktor and Mixvibes and they are both limited to song loading through Itunes.) Willing to give it a try!

Not seeing it in the list.

I forgot to make the change on the HD version. I’m setting up a new build for the app store, should be available in a day or two. Sorry about that.

Great will look out for it.

  • @sonicreef

Out of interest Is there much difference between the HD and DJ versions if so what are ? If I got one, would I benefit buying the other?

If you buy HD you can get dj deck functionality as an IAP. Otherwise buy the DJ version and skip HD.

  • yea, the only difference is the song decks. Otherwise, they’re identical.

  • if you want to save $0.01, buy the HD version for $4.99, and buy song decks for $1.99 ;)
