Solution for sore fingers?
No matter what app I'm banging away at (mostly Gadget, recently BeatMaker 3) my fingers get sore in a sitting.
I know a midi controller would make a lot of sense and decrease the touchscreen latency, but has anyone tried different screen protectors in hopes of them reducing finger fatigue?
Other options/thoughts?

Maybe some gloves of some description?
you’ve got blistas on my fingas ?

my nubby stubs are bleeding off! those rainboy mitts may help...
With respect - practice, practice, practice..... I don't think there's an instrument in the world that doesn't hurt to play, (well, maybe the therimin is low on that scale) but I'd think most masters would agree that pain is just a sign you're ready to move it up a notch. Go with it!
What about rubber thimbles?
Guitarists already know what I’m about to tell you—calluses will develop and the problem will go away as you continue practicing and toughening up. Keep doing what you are doing. The problem will fix itself.
As a guitar player can't help but chuckle over the idea of iOS calluses. I mean, it makes sense, and I guess it could happen. Teenagers must have finger tips of steel.....

Sounds like a lost 60’s band....
“And now, live at Fillmore West The RUBBER THIMBLES”
Haha!! It made me chuckle too, but I decided to go for solid advice rather than derision.
What about deltoid and pronator digitoris lungus?
Well there would be that.....
I am so trying to respect Micheal right now.........
hands trembling fighting urge to type something wicked
Give up other sports, you go blind
They just need a little rest.
Huh?
The idea that one can develop callusus from playing on glass is silly.
Any guitarist knows that the reason a callus forms is because of pressing, pushing and sliding on very thin ribbed metal strings.
Take a break, if you are getting sore fingers from tapping non velocity sensitive glass, you are tapping too hard, most likely caused by repeated continual tapping, take a break for a minute or two and you will start to tap a bit more gently/controlled.
It could be possible, if you're using a shattered screen, aaaahhhhh!
Take up hand drumming to whip those wimpy fingers into shape!
Ya'll crack me up, this is great
I got a bad case of Phalanges Bangalus !!!
An old bricklayers trick is to piss on your hands every morning to toughen up the skin on your fingers.
Apparently it really works.
Worth a try
Might help curing bugs and app issues too
@staRpauSe Are you sure it's not the tension you're building up by trying to properly hit those tiny controls? Apart from that, any kind of surface that reduces friction could help (nano coating etc)
