Bluetooth Midi knob box

So I'm on the fence for a while for a CME Xkey bluetooth. I had the 37 keys wired version and I loved it. Good for banging drums also.

But I'm missing knobs.
Does anyone know of a small, solid built, bluetooth midi knob box? I can only think of the Korg controllers, but they seem cheap and flimsy.

  • actually, I was just thinking...
Buying the electribe 2 sampler, and adding those Yamaha Bluetooth Midi jacks would seem like a nice choice, since E2 has knobs, velocity sensitive pads, scales & stuff and it's battery powered. But it has mini Midi jacks so it would dangle on the back.

Also, it seems it has been forgotten by Korg. No updates no nothing... I really had high hopes for it.

  • Not much going on in this area surprisingly. There's midi fighter and slightly bigger launch control. Other than that there's kickstarters out there but who knows when and how much.

  • MidiFighters have Bluetooth LE?

  • Oh bummer they don't. The Midi Fighter Twister was perfect

  • not much out with bluetooth. if you are into a little diy and lite coding, you could make one with and arduino controller that has bluetooth. simply hook it up to a potentiometer, or linear fader, simple coding( see arduino forums, and usually somebody on there can show you how, or actually write the code for you, and you can just copy and paste it to the board) and install it ito your own case, and your good to go.

The Yamaha Bluetooth midi cables give you a lot more choices. If you're fine with buying used there are some bargains out there. Just be sure to check compatibility before buying anything as some hardware is incompatible due to power issues.

  • my bluetooth midi controller goes to this concept. Complete mobile!

  • Bluetooth speaker oft of the controller
