  • Pretty good sounding, aren't they?

  • Sound good but Roli really need to make them available in the AU to be if any real use.

This is apparently in the pipeline. Hope it happens soon!

  • The reviews are really bad for this app so I don't know.

  • Roll. AU, please. Then I can buy some packs.

  • Gorgeous sounds. I'll have to test to see if you can drive these with Geoshred or if it's only with external MPE controllers...

The sounds are great but the app itself is rather clunky. I wish they had a more “professional” app to host the sounds.

  • They sound like oboes and bassoons to me on any sustained notes, although the attack and release sounds really good. Thanks for demoing these Doug, it definitely showed me that they are not for me.

  • I'll be releasing the SWAM Saxophones Video later today, then the two smaller Quartet videos tomorrow

great video, thanks for showing me that pack. I hope they make it as compatible soon. I’d definatly
buy this and use it with my sensel morph

  • @eross I hope they do too, it would be great to have these available as an AU, and that Sensel stuff looks brilliant too

My advice would be to only buy anything in it if you own a Roli product (which are well, well worth getting, btw. The Seaboard Block is a thing of beauty and the Lightpad M is a great little super-portable device).

it really is, i had a seaboard lightpad, and it was cool, but the Sensel is so much faster and fun to play on. plus They have some new features coming in future updates that are gonna make it even better. I’m trying to get in touch with the developers, to get more of an idea of what’s to come next, suggestions, and welcome them to this forum to get everybody’s feedback here.
ha, I’m actually thinking of getting another one so i can have more than 2 octaves on keys. or be able to have the mic overlay and key overlay side by side.
If i ever get some free time, I’ll post a video of how it works, but that may be a while. thanks again Doug

Mhhh, yep. I find they sound a bit too synthetic and unnatural. Not sooooo bad but i hoped it would be closer to the other SWAM engine.
Finger Fiddle is still the best for expressive strings by a country mile on iOS.....if it would allow to be controlled and set up with an MPE controller...
