iOS: Making INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICA
What's up?
You know, in the spirit of Ministry KFMDM Front Skinny Puppy and yes even a little goth ......who doesn't love some Christian Death or Nick Cave?
What apps you using for this type of stuff?
Finish any songs in this style?
Comments
This is my gothic industrial project FHTH . I used Gadget (on iPad Pro), Reason, some VST (EZdrummer, Amplitube, T-RackS) https://fhth.bandcamp.com/releases
Damn !
Type O who?
Nice job.
Well since you showed my yours.
Here is a concept jam I did yesterday that has me fired up.
I basically plugged in Novation Circuit and Animoog and sang as I played the Circuit and Animoog in a 1 take jam.
Slava snowshow..... I saw I Miami years ago....loved that so cool.
I liked it. I would like to hear more.
"Inside Out" This your song is also in a style close to me. Liked it.
It's not me
But I think that is one of my countrymen.
Nice jam RUST( i )K.
What part was from animoog ?
What is your setup like for recording the jam?
Wow I really like your music.
Any of those song IOS only?
Thank you so much.
Alas, no. Only electronic parts.
This isn't as noisy as I've been known to do, but it gets into that realm.

Not made with iOs, but you might dig my Stoneburner project

And some of the heavier Ego Likeness stuff.

Laplace. Trust me on this.
Also, wavestation random presets driven by fugue machine
Run any synth through Grind by Audio Damage, and sweep a resonant filter on the synth.
Also Redshrike can sound super mean.
Then add a little Pumphouse with a short release and BAM.
Would love to hear the result of this setup
Gonna experiment only later tonight (with other compressor since I don't have Pumphouse lol)
btw iN Germay there's a whole scene doing Retro Elektronik Body Musik
And yes this music is easy done. Korg Gadget London 4 on the floor and then add bassline with Lexington
Have fun!
Not sure whats happening, but some of your vides aren't available... Gonna try later today
Edit: BTW, love your live session
Really great right?
Well, that first sound that starts it.
It is a C major chord for 1/4 note over 2 bars.
I played it and liked it. So, I played and recorded in Genome.
The chord is played over and over the entire track. There is just massive modulation and midi knob movement.
The synths and noise is 1 instance of ANimoog the ENTIRE THING. I played notes as well but the chord stayed playing.
I then just added baseline (Circuit)
Drums - Circuit
There is a little section here and their with a tinny metallic like synth doing some notes that is Circuit.
But even at the end the downward arp seq sound is the same preset from Animoog with LFO movement and delay, cutoff drive and other mod manipulation.
The tracks I enjoy doing always have an element of Animoog 99% of the time.
I just plugged phone as mic with reverb in mixer - to AUM and recorded incoming Audio from Circuit and vocals and animoog into Loopy.
1 take
Just double tapped loopy loop and recorded whole thing in 1 take. No mastering no edits nada.

Reason: Industrial Electronica without FM is like a cheeseburger without a hamburger patty.
Additionally i think Argon Synth and both Scythe Synths are useful for this genre.
This is produced all in KORG Gadget on my iPhone, but it's not particularly goth-y and there's no guitar. I'm more into electro-industrial, future pop, etc. (coming from EBM).
