    Sorry. That sounds strange. Are you absolutely sure the 4 inputs are not seen in Audiobus input? Are you sure the unit isn’t faulty?

    Also, does it really charge the iPad via the regular CCK?

    I’m not doubting your answers it’s just it sounds very unusual.

    The classic CCK cannot charge your iPad.
    You need the USB3 CCK and at least iOS9.

    only apps are shown in inputs.

    Regular as in ‘the one that doesn’t allow connecting to power socket. Not the CCK3.

    You can either have apps as inputs or the physical inputs on your interfaces. I use Akai EIE that has 4 inputs and they show in Audiobus as per picture below.

    only ever tried CCK3
