Hi,

do you know of any website/platform, where you can buy or exchange Korg Gadget Midi Loops?

Thanks!

  • Oooo. Really sure u want to do that? Have you tried importing midi into Gadget? It will split up a 16 bar midi file into 16 separate 1 bar scenes - which sucks for arranging and editing - big time!

  • Loopmasters.com, search format > midi.

  • Yes, you're absolutely right, that's not a good workflow to import midi files in Korg Gadget.
Then I'm in search of Korg Gadget project files.
    That should work better.

  • Instead of importing you could play the midi file in a separate app, and record it in Gadget. Use Link with loop mode off and it is pretty painless.

YUP. Tell me about it - MIDI import-wise - what a crock of "SH$T.

Mind you - Ableton is pretty inept in its MIDI exporting features tbh.

What i'd really like to see ( apart from AUv3 hosting and MIDI output ) would be for Gadget to come with optional patterns for each instrument category and/or sound type in the same manner as Amplify GroveBox does.

At the very least I would really benefit from just having drum patterns available in Gadget.

Does Gadget for Mac also sucks with midi import?

  • So I guess there is no place to buy Korg Gadget project files, since your answers go in others directions...?

If you create an account on allihoopa.com, then you can download Korg Gadget project files of songs created in Korg Gadget.

    Here is how:

Select “Apps” and then Gadget (IOS/Mac)

Then find a song you would like to download to Gadget:

Press “Pick Up” and then choose app, select Gadget and then you will be asked if you want to open it in Gadget:

    That’s all.

  • That's very interesting, White. Thanks!
