I think AudioBus is an app that WE can over pay now for this big update like an IAP...
All WE need New features like multiple effect, separate routing of input, and IAA support...
But I think to Sebastian that are Work about 1 year without money...
I can pay 4 € or $ for this ....and for who don't need can buy it at normal price.

What you think about?

PS: WE All owe him :)

    Sebastian has told you that he hasnt made any money on his work over the past 12 months, and you suggest that the next audiobus update has to be paid by iap

    In light of Sebastian's reluctance to give his full stamp of approval to iOS 7, have you considered that remaining iOS 7 problems may be one reason for holding back any Audiobus update? If there are problems caused by iOS 7 following an Audiobus update users are highly likely to think there's something wrong with Audiobus. That and the resultant support issues would be a headache that I'm sure Sebastian and Michael would rather avoid.

    I think if Sebastin & Michael release iOS 7 update with same option of IAA I (and All other) prefer to use AB that is more stable (no bug) and more compatible...

    • Yep, next update will have In-App-Purchases.
    • Not going to go into details about what the new features are going to be in there but we're listening closely to what you guys want.
    • We've definitely made some money with Audiobus but it's nice of you to consider how little the actual app costs.

    I would go so far as to say AB is used with all other Apps I use. A few bucks a year for significant IAP upgrades? No probs.

    I agree... For me, occasional IAPs (for moderate sized updates & feature adds), release of new editions for major updates/overhauls are cool for additional purchase. I think smaller updates are nice perks as freebies. (Of course, the feature packed updates are like little holidays each time!)

    But, without some ongoing revenues from existing customer bases, I don't see how app developers can stay in business w/ endless free updates. I'd rather shell out a few bucks now and then for app updates, than see great app developers get driven out by dwindling revenues and move onto other things. Maybe I'm missing something?

    Example: I'm a Tweetbot user since the begin…..now with iOS 7 they have make some big new thing and make Tweetbot 3 for iOS 7 users,
    I buy it with no problem….I have for 3 years continuos new free update…the app is cool…and the 3 version is more better and beauty...
