I’m a fan as well but on topic: celestial seasonings brand tension tamer tea. Tastes pleasantly earthy and does what it says

Celestial makes good teas, but the bags are not individually wrapped. That's a deal-breaker for me, since good herbal teas go stale so quickly.

    Well they’re AU so

  • Now we only need some audio dev to open a "What are you coding? Is it good?" thread ;)

@Bootsy. Do you package and ship? I’m a craft beer junkie. Typically stouts and English barleywines are my thing and I’m open to variants of those styles.

Our 5 flagships are English style. A pale ale, red ale, brown, ESB my fav, and a stout. Then whatever else I can get in of my own. I’m an IPA guy..
For now we are just going to be a pub. It will just be me doing all the brewing on a 7 bbl system. It’s pretty small for to be a packaging brewery but we might have a mobile canner come in eventually. The space is amazing, it’s a 87 yr old baptist church that developers in the area wanted to tear down but the city wouldn’t let them and now has historic designation so it can’t be torn down.

Where is your building? I lived out there for 5 years a number of years ago. Really enjoyed my time there. I miss the area.
    Good luck with the opening.

  • Recently it’s been Shiner Light Blond.

Thanks, I think we talked a few years ago when the Broncos were in the Super Bowl?

It’s in Denver in an area called Highlands. 32nd and Lowell Blvd. Just the other side of I 25 from downtown Denver. Huge millennial presence these days popping or tearing down all the old homes and building new, kind of sad. but they are really excited for us to open..

    Bootsy, that’s a beautiful setup.
Wish you great success in your beer adventure.

BTW, what is the alcohol %? I am very fond of (strong) Belgian beer, which to me is brewing art, it’s quality over quantity...

I’m a coffee geek, roasting my beans etc...so espresso for me

  • Coffee, ginger ale, water
    (I am so boring)

Yep, that was me. Wasn’t sure you’d remember. I probably wouldn’t recognize anything now. Sounds exciting. Hope all goes well.

When I visited folks in Colorado years back we had to bring loads of real ale bottles for our hosts, who treated it like gold dust. Went down very well, along with the suitcase full of bacon.

  • Suitcase full of bacon ultimate bequest.

Thanks much! Are flagships range from mid 5 to 7.4. I’ll do an IPA around 7 and a double around 8.5%.

The distilling thing is intriguing but I’m not much of a hard liquor drinker so I haven’t been motivated to try it. But I have tried some good home distilled stuff.

  • A glass of Glen Garioch 12. It is very good.
