Not fake news, but they own the intellectual property, not support for Cakewalk customers, so as such maybe no support for prior customers.

  • Cool beans. So who’s buying Gibson now?

  • first thing they need to do is port Project 5 to IOS..... let them know!!!!!

I can't believe I've never heard of Harley Benton guitars???? Does anyone have one? They look very nice. Seem to use quality wood in their guitars. They are extremely cheap, like I coulda bought several of them for what I paid for my Les Paul.

And the Heritage brand too? Never heard of them. They make some quality instruments.

I do love my 2016 Les Paul though. I can tell the sound diff. between it and my Fender Strat.

I’ve had a bit of a hankering to try some HBs since they were put on my radar a few months ago and I’ve watched a ton of YouTubers review them with mostly positive results.

Quality seems generally high for the $ and it could fill a Tele or 335 style hole in my life.

I will be taking a punt at some point, I don’t care what name is on the headstock.

A few years ago, I picked up a brand new cherry red Epiphone 335 Pro for $350. After a pro setup, it sounds and plays fantastic. I was going to switch out the pickups, but so far I really like them. You might want to play a few if you’re looking for a 335 style guitar.

Thanks, I was looking at them online just now in fact.

Relative lack of music stores around here but will do a tour with some fun money at some point.

Best of luck with the quest. I’d love to see what you get.
