Like this one ?.....Beware once you see it, you cannot unsee it.
That’s right, I’m the Piano Man.
And the engine has cooled off.
I'm glad someone said it.
See, that's what happens when you're an old school missionary with no real understanding of the suffering the congregation goes through....
I am glad you enjoyed it. I keep going back to that one. Here is another one that I have been going back to for over a year:

As Billy Joel no longer makes rock music, there is a vacancy.
BTW, just spotted something else that makes me very happy. I took a peak into an argumentative thread I’d already bowed out of, and was so glad I’ve learned not to waste precious time when there is no possibility of compromise or agreement. I’d much rather be making music!
Did Billy Joel ever make rock music?
PoP RoCk I guess. But......Bryan Adam's and John Cougar used to......
Another one...Octavia Spencer. Anything with her in it.> @ALB said:
Piano (Pop?) Rock, at least way back when. The type of 70s bar piano music that the ladies like. He stopped making the good stuff in the 80s, and then voiced a cartoon dog for a Disney movie.
App updates with awesome new features.
Seriously.
Little endorphin rushes.
Love it.
I was kidding. He’s never been my cup of tea - 70s, 80s, and so on.
Fair enough. All of our tastes are different, and that makes for interesting conversation. I like “piano rock” Billy Joel for sure, but I definitely agree on 80s and beyond.
Damn good songwriter that's for sure...

Sure. Not heavy rock, of course. But it still counts.
ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Interesting, because I heard from a musician friend of his that he didn’t actually “write” some of his material and that some were ghostwritten and he would compensate the writer well. Never found out which ones. I was told this was common practice in the biz. Surprising to me.
Tin Pan Alley and beyond I guess...
Yeah - think about the crushing pressure to provide an album a year with at least three hit songs. Not easy - especially if you’re a solo act.
I tried. I tried to purge BJ from the thread. You guys are still going on about him. I give up.
