Garage band organ
Anyone know if its possible to use GB instruments in AUM - I love the hammond in GB
Comments
I love the GB organs as well, but GB is basically input only. You could export an organ track (or any GB track) to AudioShare and use the AUM fileplayer, but that’s a close as you can get to using it in AUM.
The Organ kept me in GB for a long time. But now that I bought Galileo and Cubasis I really don’t feel the need to go back to GB.
I own a Hammond SK1 and Galileo keeps me satisfied when away from it.
Galileo has an unuseable key click to my ears and quite dull - so just created the ‘spit’ in LayR, then created the percussion elements, then got carried away and ended up with 9 drawbars too. Sounding good to my ears but need to find an o/drive and above all a rotary effects plugin - can’t seem to get Galileo effects in AUM to work. Or output to a hardware pedal like neo ventilator.
You are planing to use this as a live rig? How are you connecting to the vent? I also own the ventilator.
Galileo does need a good bit of tuning to get to GB Organ level but It can get there and sometimes more.
Yes, we need a rotary speaker effect AUV3 plugin: @brambos Now that you’re doing effects, what do you think?
The only other one I know of is inside of Cubasis.
@TozBourne
ToneStack from Yonac has some Rotary speaker effects as IAP, one is free I think.
@Jumpercollins - Wow I didn’t know that, have had the app since a long time ago. I’ll deffinately check it out. Thanks so much!
No probs
I play to a mono PA, so was thinking everything else pan left in AUM, Hammond pan right and take that to an external pedal (ventilator/Lester K or something).
If I could use Galaileio as an FX plug in and use its rotary effect AUM might be OK, but can’t get it to load in the channels.
Voicerack Fx has a rotary sim, and is AU.

Module IAP?
LOL
I use Voice Rack AU alot
Stereo widener is amazing along with the echo play presets.
Korg module is your best bet, also works great live with a band if you use a midi keyboard
The Korg module organ does not have drawbar because it is samples vs Galileo is modelled.
