OT: Reason 10 Upgrade from Essentials, Adapted, Limited for $99
Absolutely no idea how long the offer is for, but I've upgraded cost less than upgrading from an older version.

Offer ends March 31. At JRR anyway.
it's also official:

That's not bad, Essentials is £59. If there's no tax on the offer price you could get Reason 10 for about £149, which is about half price. Hmm...
Good deal actually I had the limited version that got free in a deal a while back, just grabbed the full version 10 for £91.92 in UK after conversion.
All we need now is for Propellerheads to bring out a bridge DAW app bit like Cubasis and Cubase and our be over the moon.
That's blooming good, wish I had a copy of Limited!
I can’t remember how I got the original deal for limited, surprised they still issued it as it was pretty restricted. Even at £150 if there is no tax pretty good deal still.
R10 is a proper beast, too. They seem to be getting a bit of shade for “ignoring” Reason’s “obvious deficiencies.” But the fact of the matter is that you’re getting a giant box of instruments and effects WITH modular capabilities PLUS a great sequencer PLUS very capable audio editing tools, and it’s super lightweight and stable* and it’s Link enabled.
*Europa is a bit CPU-heavy by Reason standards but still very light compared to Alchemy, which is its obvious inspiration. I don’t use VSTs so I can’t speak to stability in those instances.
Is this the same deal? https://www.gear4music.com/Recording-and-Computers/Propellerhead-Reason-10/2CW3?origin=product-ads&utm_campaign=PLA+Shop+-+Avid&utm_medium=vertical_search&network=google&adgroup=*All+Products.+Avid&merchant_id=1279443&product_id=110019d1&product_country=GB&product_partition_id=96391560731&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIkJKy9p3M2QIVo7vtCh1a1wWxEAQYAiABEgLPA_D_BwE
Basically yes, your buying Reason Essentials and also the Reason 10 Upgrade.
Cheers! I’m battling GAS badly for hardware trying to resist all the expensive euro rack cv modules which are in fashion on all the top music tech YouTube channel right now....
Reason looks like I could learn modular patching and synthesis in a much more affordable way. I still really need to learn Thor on this iPad to be honest!
I see no reason to.
I bought Reason Limited online today through eBay for $48 or £35.
I’ve just bought and downloaded the upgrade from Propellerhead.se for €99 or £88
That’s £123 for the full deal !
I'm sure I have a code for Reason Limited somewhere. Must curb my spending, though - and between the iPad and Ableton, hardware and so on I don't really see how it fits. It might just get me wanting rack extensions. Maybe that's why they're giving it away? Now, if only Reason's instruments could be used as plug-ins...
FYI, there are some other great deals out there worth checking, depending on budgets/requirements:

This has got to be bargain of the year. Turns out I had registered Reason Adapted 3 from years back. Thanks @knewspeak for posting about this!
I have some Adapted/Limited serials from old hardware purchases that were never registered. I can let them go for $25 each. Seems fair enough and much cheaper than Ebay. $125 for the full Reason 10 is pretty good deal.
Great update coming May 8th if you have the full version.
Bahhhhh good god I wish I had proper time to sit with Reason nowadays.
This deal is a STEAL!!
Wonderful, I love the new drum sequencer.
I absolutely adore reason. It's the best vision there is for me how to compose music. Love it. Let's hope they make a 99 Ugprade Period again for. 9.5 Users. Really want to upgrade to 10.1.
nice
I love Reason. It’s not perfect, but for recording and editing audio, and hosting vst’s, it’s my favourite DAW. And I just plug a lead in from my iPad and record the audio straight in.
I’ve found creating drum patterns a bit laborious, but the new editor will fix that, and support for third party performance units (please, please Brambos) will help.
Seeing this vid just makes me sooo happy that I've made my decision to switch to and embrace Reason. WOW!
Dham, missed that upgrade deal... when will they bring a clip launcher?
Looking good..
The drum sequencer is great, free until the end of the month. Took me all day to update though - after accepting the update Reason wouldn’t open until I’d downloaded 3gb of extra content. Took me all day as my connection occasionally times out, and the download is in one block so I had to keep starting again...and again...
The Drum Seq (Well, it does melodies too) looks great... Wish it will come to iOS..
It wouldn’t surprise me if they haven’t taken a crafty peek at what ios has to offer. There’s a few nods to Mr Brambos with regards to Euclidean fuss, bother and itch, Gadget, and alsorts in there. Can’t see it does much more than what’s available in iOS land.
Still good to have this in Reason though, as I was having to export/import drum patterns from the iPad, or load in Maschine as a VST and bounce in place when my PC started to steam.
Forgot it does VST these days.. Well, let’s see if I get another offer to upgrade my essential at $90.
Worth the full price I’d say, it’s become my main workhorse, and I can see me sticking with it for years to come. The sequencer and audio editor are a joy to use. Last night for example I recorded a guitar solo. Some of the notes were slightly out of time, but it took just a couple of seconds to tweak them into place moving the little markers in the sample editor.
Only issue I have is my machines are ancient, and struggle when I load VST’s or big sample based instruments, but that’s down to my ropey old hardware, and I can bounce them down to keep things running.
