AB Midiflow query

Hi all! General question concerning the Audiobus 3 and Midiflow suite combo. I'm using the Korg Nanokey Studio in Gadget with custom MIDI mapping. The problem I'm having is Gadget doesn't send MIDI out and I'd like to have some kind of LED feedback for toggled buttons. I reccon Midiflow and/or the Channels or Splitter apps would help me get there. The question I would like to pose is has anyone had any success with this? More specifically, turning a limited controller into something bigger with two way communication? I'm trying to get the drum pads to act like a Novation Launchpad would, meaning the lights stay on when activated and their state can be remembered after leaving that scene and then coming back to it? Any ideas?
