Puzzling.
This is frustrating.
So far, I have managed to get one of the presets working with Sunrizer and AniMoog. I can Randomizer. But any attempt to edit that pattern turns on the silence.
No attempt at creating a new pattern, and editing it so that there are emitters, has produced so much as a squeak.
No wonder this is on sale.
This should be down my alley but.......Stiff as a corpse
I want % swing at least
yawn...
Even tried RTFM, and can see nothing wrong. Probably an IOS issue. Have e-mailed dev for advice,
Can you get the internal synth making a sound?
Maybe upload a screen cap vid to show us. Working ok here.

Now this is weird. Tried the internal synth, and that played okay. Swapped to Sunrizer, and still working. Made an edit and... .bingo, it still works{
So, no idea what was stopping it before, but problem now solved itself.
Great
has the Dev of this app made an appearance yet?
>
Not here, but he got back to my e-mail enquiry very swiftly.
Did he have any insight into your strange, intermittent problem?
I imagine a bright future with frequent updates, because this sequencer has potential. It’s very easy to set up melody lines. Graphic interface is great.
Must agree. I didn't think it looked like much, BUT the first three melodies I came up with using it I really liked...
>
No, just the usual try this try that, have you enabled.... But the fact that he responded is encouraging.
As for the issue I had, who knows. Things like this happen from time to time. All now well and enjoying the app. Hopefully, it’s development will continue.
@Zen210507 Awesome to hear that it’s all good now.
I like Senode a lot too. This seems fairly redundant but am considering it because it looks like it’s be nice to have a Senode-like app on the iPhone.
Does this one do anything that Senode does not?
Yeah, it's a lot easier to set up and play from scratch, not as deep as Senode but has a few things like Random which I don't think Senode has yet, also being able to cycle through notes without the piano keys works better for me and is quick and fun. I hope Senode gets that feature unless I've missed it. (although you can do chords per node in Senode which is not possible yet in Grid music). This has Link too, Senode does not yet.
Nice little app which I hope gets more stuff added.
I like the addition of the random button. Starting all this as a non-musician, randomly created melody has been extremely helpful. Over time, I’ve started to get better at creating melody from scratch, but it’s cool to use the randomly generated stuff as a starting off point, then alter to taste until it’s more my own. It’s been very helpful to learn more about melody in an almost organic way. The Rozeta Suite has been magnificent for this approach.
Thanks
Good demo video here -

Doesn’t the pink modulation diamond have to be inline to have an effect?
>
Yes, I believe so. DJ Puzzle says it’s his first try with the app.
Just downloaded Grid Music tried to open it goes straight to the recent page on Apples Files app, then cant get out of it so cant actually open the app anyone else having this problem?
>
Nope. Working perfectly for me. IPad Pro latest IOS.
Was thinking of nabbing this on Easter sale, but I get the impression it’s very close to Senode that I already have. Is that an accurate assessment? Or, is this significantly different and brings its own unique party to the table?
iOS 11 only. Might give it a shot on the iPad. Though, and can't believe I'm saying this, I really don't need another step sequencer!
I was/am considering it because Senode is iPad only, and this one looked like it had more randomness built into the nodes than Senode does... based on one of the demo videos. Though, I could be mistaken about that.
Bought this and like it. So easy to get something going and very intuitive interface. My melody grids are automatically available between my iPad and iPhone installs.
Glad I got it.
