What do you mean? That there are people who love it and others who hate it? I love Stream byter from Midifire/Midibridge

  • The best thing about StreamByter is Nic:)

THIS a hundred times over! Since I started using Midifire, I haven't touched MD pro--mostly because Nic is the best and most willing co pilot around.

    Nic is the coolest!

Yeah, this is a great coup for Midi Designer.

I was working on stuff earlier in the year to combine MD and Midifire's Stream Byter in a project and I reckon this will make the task much easier when I get time to revisit.

    I don't get it either.

  • Very cool, this is big deal for midi wizards that want to add rules and transforms to their custom midi touch screen widgets.

  • I wish MDP ui didn't look so bad, I never use it because of this :dizzy:

Streambyter is a good addition though.
And I concur, Nic is amazing in support :)

I asked Nic if he would consider releasing Midifire as an AU. He said he was looking into it.
Please also let him know your support for this if also interested. That would be even better, Midifire and Streambyter built into an AUv3.

Mind blown. Midifire as AUv3 would be amazing! Will log a request to Nic.

  • I love these threads: Have absolutely no idea what's being discussed and no idea who Nic is :) For once my hand can stay quietly in my pocket...
