  • Yes curious to know if people use this and how it compares to other iOS sequencers now.

This app is great fun if you own any of the launchpad hardware family. There are some videos on YouTube that show the integration...

Do you own it? Does it still work on iOS 11.2.6?

I don't own it (yet), but there are some people (like me) running old devices (iPad 2 to iPad4) looking for some decent midi sequencers.

    Enjoy.

Yes it still works on 11.2.6 as far as I can tell just by seeing if it loads ok.

It’s another of those apps that I bought probably on sale but never really got to grips with.
But at 2bucks it’s really not a lot of risk is it

    Do you know Quantum?

I already own Tony Saunder's Midisequencer, & Quantum, and Xynthsizr, Thesys...never enough sequencers to buy (LOL).

  • It’s a good sequencer for sure, especially if you have a Launch control XL. I don’t use it much but worth having around. Nice price.

    Link would be good though.

I haven't used it in a bit but it's a great and very powerful step sequencer. It helps to remember that it's based on a bass guitar where the notes are preset. You start with each lane assigned to your default four notes (like the 4 open strings) and then you can offset any step. Or modulate the entire sequence. In that way, it's quite "musical" by default.

Plus a load of other stuff. Documentation is good if I recall correctly.

  • The main point with this sequencer is its unique workflow. I don't know anything comparable on the App Store. It has good connectivity to the outside world and very interesting and unique features.
If you're a fan of piano rolls then better look elsewhere, but for randomisation, modulation and synchronisation with external gear all in one package, this one is probably hard to beat.
    Definitely a fairly unique concept.
