Instrument Maker for BeatMaker 2 and Thumbjam
My apologies if this has been covered before but it's new to me...
Someone put together instructions for a relatively simple way of creating complex multi-sampled instruments (or theoretically drumkits) for BM2 and ThumbJam. If you have VSTi or sample library on your PC you'd like to convert to an instrument, check out the following pages:

@jesse_ohio Thanks for sharing this.. This is actually my website and I made quite a few tools to help with this process overall. It is just difficult finding the time to post the changes, etc.
I am planning on converting the Sonatina Symphony to BM2 using some new tools, based some of this information:
http://sunvox.blogspot.com/2013/11/sonatina-symphonic-orchestra.html
and due to the discussions here:

I will post new info here once I can find the time to tweak and or complete these tasks...
My latest interests are in sampling real instruments, so I am considering using the sforzando vsti to load some SF2 instruments and converting to .XI for Sunvox and to BM2 directly through scripting as well as to try and make these instruments smaller while still being quality instruments. It seems that space on iOS is still at a premium...

Oh wow.. hi!
Thanks for the update and information. Sounds great!
I'm really, really interested in getting more realistic drum sounds, multi-sampled, using an app like BM2. Do you have any suggestions or ideas for using your tool (or others) to achieve this?
@jesse_ohio have you tried Derek's drums for bm2? He posted a link to them a while back on here.
I remember seeing them but not trying them. Were those mapped to keyboard or pads?
Very cool! Improving the in-app experience for instrument creation has been on my list for a while, of course. Supporting SFZ and SF2 directly is also on my list. But as you all know, being on the list, and getting it into your hands are two different things
But velocity layered instrument support is definitely going to be in the next version of TJ.... now I just have to make some!
yaay!
Only PC?Bummer
They were to the keyboard I believe jesse
Great job , @Marlow77 and thank you so much for that cool idea.
I wanted to always add new instruments to TJ but just lazy to create all the files and stuff.
Using Chainer is a neat trick and atleast that gets the wavs exported in one shot and easy. I am going to try this for some odd instruments starting with ones from http://www.dskmusic.com/category/vsti-all/
Do you have any cool instruments for TJ that you could share ;-) ?
@sonosaurus :
I have been asking for SF2 support for a long time ( yea, on all the forums ;-) ) . ..it was just today that I checked the Download new Instruments in TJ to see if there are any new ones ...none in 2013 :-(
